Manly Manning of RockAway High

I doodled up this bulky, curve legged Dude one day and liked him so much that I had to have a go at him. Turns out he was really fun to draw, so I quickly came up with a rudementary backstory for this guy and nicknamed him Manly Manning, Crimefighting Quaterback.
    I've also started coming up with other characters from the same universe. Not sure where this is going, if anywhere, but this wont be the last we see of the people at RockAway Highschool...

Drawesome designs

My favorites from a bunch of Character Concepts done for Drawesome some time ago. The client wanted a hand drawn feel, even when translated into Flash, so I inked the final designs on paper before touching them up digitally.

AgriNord Illustrations

Zeus

All in all I am quite pleased with the result, though I could have been more bold painting it. I did miss some design elements going from sketch to final. This has inspired me to do more funky greek God designs, Poseidon is up next.

 

Axe man

An old sketch that I still like very much. The final design is inked on paper with a brush and bamboo fountain pen. High res version with values in Photoshop. Old meets new.

Another attempt at using Tvpaint for actual painting, sketchbook page and final image.

Hillbilly Animals

I doodled up a bunch of hillbilly animals playing instruments some time ago, and used the designs to practice painting in Tvpaint for the first time. Here are the sketches and some finished results.
